About La Junta
Located in the grassy plains of the southeastern part of the state, La Junta, Colorado, calls itself the “Smile-Hi City,” referencing the friendly atmosphere of the 8,000-person town. La Junta is on the Arkansas River and the Santa Fe trail, and is growing quickly.
