About Michigan City

A town right on Lake Michigan on the state’s northern border, Michigan City, Indiana, is a large town of around 35,000 in the Chicago region. From the city’s lake front shores, you can see the Chicago skyline on a clear day. The town is adjacent to the Indiana National Dunes Lakeshore on the water’s edge, a popular attraction that draws many tourists, especially in the warmer and summer months.
