Located just north of interstate 64 in northern Kentucky is the city of Shelbyville, Kentucky. Situated in Shelby County, Shelbyville is the county seat. About 11,000 people live in Shelbyville. Founded in the 1790s, Shelbyville has grown into a cozy small town that’s about seven square miles in size.
On the east side of the city is Guist Creek Lake which is a small body of water. Several private country clubs are scattered throughout the town.
