About Westwego

Right on the Mississippi River on the southern tip of the state, just miles from Gulf of Mexico, Westwego, Louisiana, is a suburb city of New Orleans, just 12 miles south of the city and across the river. The town, one of the few in America whose name is a sentence, is home to more than 10,000 residents.
