Berkley is a relatively small community found in the southeastern portion of the state of Massachusetts. In fact, Berkley is the least populous town in Bristol County with a population of approximately five thousand seven hundred residents. Berkley was originally settled in the year sixteen thirty eight, and was incorporated as a town in the year seventeen thirty five. Berkley was named after Bishop George Berkeley, although an āeā was accidentally omitted.
