A city of about 45,000 people in Wayne County, Michigan, Lincoln Park sits in the eastern central portion of the county. Lincoln Park was founded in 1921 and has since developed into a bedroom community with no industrial economy in its city limits. You'll find rentals of all kinds here, including apartments for rent and houses for rent, as well as some condos for rent. You'll find beautiful views of the Ecorse River here, which has a lot of historical significance to the area.
With a diverse population and a great deal of local pride, Lincoln Park is noted for its situation as a suburb with very little economic development outside of commercial ventures. Originally built as a community for those working in the factories and manufacturing plants nearby, Lincoln Park has continued this plan. Communities bordering Lincoln Park include Detroit, Allen Park, Southgate, and Ecorse.
