Lowell is a relatively small community found in the southwestern portion of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Lowell has a population of approximately five thousand two hundred residents, and is considered a part of Kent County. Lowell is technically considered a charter township, and has the nickname of Red Arrows and the motto of “The Next Place to Be”.
