Romulus is a medium sized community found in the southeastern portion of the lower peninsula of the state of Michigan. Romulus has a population of approximately twenty four thousand one hundred residents, an increase of nearly twelve hundred inhabitants since the last census was taken. Romulus is technically considered a part of Wayne County and is nicknamed the “Gateway to the World” and “Rom-Town”.
