Hollis is a relatively small community found in the south central portion of the state of New Hampshire. Hollis has a population of approximately seven thousand residents, and is considered a part of Hillsborough County. Hollis takes its name from John Holles, the Earl of Clare, and boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage dating back past the town’s official incorporation in the year seventeen forty six.
