About Espanola

A bedroom community for Santa Fe, about 25 miles north of the capital city, Espanola, New Mexico, is home to around 10,000 residents in parts of both Rio Arriba and Santa Fe counties. The town was founded in 1598 by Spainards as the first capital of New Mexico and those looking for a house for rent or an apartment for rent will find it continues to have a rich Spanish culture.
