The beautiful city of Trinity is located in Randolph County, central North Carolina, with a population of about 8,000 residents. The community gained its name from one of the first major establishments in the area, Trinity College, which is currently known as Duke University. In 1999, Trinity made history when the “World’s Longest Hot Wheels Track” was built at the Kyle Petty Farm in Trinity. Trinity is also home to the headquarters of the world’s largest manufacture of bedding products, Sealy, as wells as home to NASCAR Nextel Cup Series drivers Bobby Labonte and Brian Vickers. The town was first chartered in 1869 but rescinded in 1924. In 1997, the city was reincorporated.
