About Minot Afb

Located just south of the country’s border to the north with Canada, Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, is home to the U.S. Air Force’s 5th Bomb Wing and its squadron of B-52H Stratofortress bombers, as well as the 91st Missile Wing and its fleet of Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles and UH-1N helicopters. The Roughrider Golf Course is located on the base as are two elementary schools and a middle school.
