Named after its location on Beaver Creek, Beaver is a village of just over 400 residents nestled in Pike County in southern Ohio. The closest city is Jackson, a few miles east with the state capital, Columbus, 68 miles north. Conveniently located on Highway 335, many residents commute to nearby cities during the day, a good portion of the village’s workforce is devoted to construction, a popular occupation for many Ohioans.
