A 45-minute drive south on Highway 213 will lead to the city of Molalla, Oregon, just 31 miles outside of Portland. The city was named after the Molalla River and the Molalla, a Native American tribe that once lived in the area. Although many residents of a Molalla house or apartment rental make the easy commute into Portland for work, Brentwood Industries and RMS Technology, Inc. are both based in the city and offer a variety of positions.
Molalla is home to almost 7,000 residents that enjoy the city’s proximity to Portland and intriguing surroundings. Residents of an apartment or home for rent in Molalla look forward to community events including Battle of the Bands, the Oregon Buckeroo BBQ Championship, Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo, Molalla Buckeroo Parade, Blues Festival, and other parades and celebrations. The Molalla River corridor is known for its exceptional fishing, hunting, and hiking.
