About Pennsylvania

This mid-Atlantic state is known as the Quaker State, after its namesake, William Penn. One of the original 13 colonies, Pennsylvania has a lot of rich history and its largest city, Philadelphia, was the original capital for the U.S., as it was at one time larger than both Boston and New York City.
