Easily accessed from the I-385, the city of Fountain Inn is only 20 miles southeast of Greenville, South Carolina, and is home to over 6,000 residents. The city’s name was interestingly created from an Inn and distinctive fountain that were located along an old stagecoach route. First an informal name used by drivers, Fountain Inn soon became the permanent name. Residents of an apartment or home rental in Fountain Inn typically commute into Greenville as Fountain Inn is primarily residential neighborhoods with limited industry. Donaldson Center Airport, Greenville’s main airport, is about 15 minutes from Fountain Inn and receives a limited number of commercial flights each day.

The Fountain Inn Farmers Market is a popular event, held weekly on a temporarily closed street on the weekends.
