Located in Brown County, Suamico is a charming village with a population of about 11,000 residents. Formerly known as the Town of Suamico, Suamico was incorporated as a village in 2003. The village is situated along the shore of Green Bay and is located only 5 miles north of the City of Green Bay. Although the village has experienced much growth and development, it has retained its rural charm and preserved the village’s woodland, farms, pastures, greenery, and beautiful subdivisions. Suamico’s economy is based upon diversified commercial and light industrial businesses including the Green Bay Cheese and Winona Foods. Much of the industrial sites are located in the village’s industrial district along the East Deerfield Road.
