About Wahiawa

Located in the center of the island of Oahu, Wahiawa, Hawaii, is a town of over 16,000 residents. The town is home to a significant number of U.S. Army facilities, including Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Airfield, and East Range, an Army training area that stretches south and east of town. Schofield Barracks itself is larger than Wahiawa. The U.S. Navy's Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific is also located here, and the military is a large employer, both to civilian and those enlisted.
