One of the most rapidly growing cities in the state, Kuna, Idaho, is located just 18 miles from Boise in the southwestern part of the state. The town, whose name literally means end of the trail, from its location at the end of an old railroad that ran through Boise, has become a popular suburb for those who commute to Boise in recent years. Those looking for a house for rent or an apartment for rent far enough out of the city to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to enjoy the recreation and other activities within the city will find Kuna a good fit. Colonel Bernard Fisher Veteran's Memorial Park and Birds of Prey National Habitat Area are both located here and offer residents outdoor recreational platforms. The town, which sits on Indian Creek and is not far from Lake Lowell, celebrates an annual Kuna Days festival. Though the town's roots lie in agriculture and some residents here still farm, those in search of a house for rent or an apartment for rent here will find the place is mostly a quickly growing and expanding town with advancing opportunities. Boise State University is in the city just 13 miles away, and the school system here includes Kuna High School, one middle school and four elementary schools.
