About Star
The small city of Star, Idaho, is located in the southwestern part of the state in Ada County. About 1,800 people live in this community, and choosing a Star house for rent or apartment for rent is a fantastic way to settle into the area. This growing city is a part of the greater Boise metropolitan area. Downtown Boise is about 17 miles southeast of Star, and the outer suburbs of the city are even closer. Situated on a flat plain, Star is just a few miles south of stunning mountains. To the south of the city are several winding creeks and rivers. Travel a few miles east to reach Eagle Island State Park. Further east of the metro area is the Lucky Peak State Park. You’ll have the best of small-town living here in Star, with all of the benefits of having a larger city nearby.
