Right off I-69 about 15 miles west of the state line with Ohio and about 25 miles north of Fort Wayne, the town of Auburn, Indiana, has over 12,000 residents. The town was once home to Auburn Automobile Company, and it celebrates this automotive heritage each year by hosting what it says is the largest collector car festival and auction in the world. Those in search of a house for rent or an apartment for rent here will find many options, from downtown apartments to rural country homes. Auburn is a historic town, with a handful of museums. Two museums are housed in their original factory buildings, where Auburn and Cord automobiles were manufactured. The Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Museum holds vintage cars from the early 20th century through the post World War II era, while the NATMUS Museum has vehicles from the post war years. The Hoosier Air Museum is here as well, guaranteeing that those looking for a house for rent or an apartment for rent who enjoy mechanical history will have plenty to see. In addition, the town hosts Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival each Labor Day weekend.
