About Lowell
A small town in the northwestern part of the state, about an hour south of Chicago, Lowell, Indiana, is home to nearly 8,000 residents and lies in the center of Lake County. Because of its proximity to Chicago, the town is officially considered part of the Chicago metropolitan area, and those in search of a house for rent or an apartment for rent can find job opportunities in the city and its outer reaches.
