About Portage
Right on Lake Michigan on the state's northern border, Portage, Indiana, is a city where more than 90,000 Hoosiers call home. Its location is ideal, about 40 miles from Chicago in Porter County, and makes it easy for residents in search of a house for rent or an apartment for rent here to commute into Chicago for work, school or leisure activity.
