About Danville
The historic town of Danville, Kentucky, is located in the central part of the state. Known as the “city of firsts,” Danville was the location of the first state school for the deaf, the first Kentucky courthouse, and several other historic firsts. Located in Boyle County, Danville is the county seat. About 15,500 people live in Danville, which spans about 16 square miles in size.
