About Standish
Named after Miles Standish, pioneer of the Plymouth colony, this town of just under 10,000 is located near Portland. Standish is home to Saint Joseph’s College of Maine which is located on the banks of Sebago Lake. This quaint town hosts an annual Strawberry Festival, as well as the Family Festival in August, and the Harvest Festival in October.
