Grand Ledge is a relatively small community found in the south central portion of the state of Michigan. Grand Ledge has a population of approximately seven thousand eight hundred residents, and is considered a part of both Eaton County and Clinton County. Grand Ledge is named after the local, ancient sandstone and quartzite rock ledges. Grand Ledge is located above the Grand River, and is less than thirteen miles away from the city of Lansing.
