The village of Lake Orion, Michigan, is appropriately located along the body of water, Lake Orion. This community is home to about 2,700 residents and is located in the southeastern portion of Michigan in Oakland County. Originally a resort town, Lake Orion has blossomed into a residential community. You can choose a Lake Orion house for rent or apartment for rent and work within this city, or commute to Detroit. Downtown Detroit is about 40 miles south of Lake Orion.
