A village of about 10,000 people in Pomfret, New York and Chautauqua County, Fredonia has a lot of small town charm for its residents and visitors. Fredonia is the home of the State Universit of New York Fredonia and sits near the City of Dunkirk. Lake Erie is a part of this community, as it sits just to the north.
