About Cottage Grove

Named as an "All American City" in 2004, Cottage Grove is home to 9,000 Oregon residents 21 miles south of Eugene, along the I-5 corridor. The first settlers came to Cottage Grove in 1848 via the Oregon Trail and then the Applegate Trail. Prior to that, the Kalapuya Indians occupied the area.
