Alpine is a relatively small community found in the southwestern portion of the US state of Texas. Alpine has a population of approximately five thousand eight hundred residents, and is considered a part of Brewster County. Alpine serves as the county seat of Brewster County, and is found relatively close to the United States border with Mexico.
