The city of Fate, Texas, has rapidly grown over recent years. According to the 2000 census, less than 500 people lived in Fate. By 2006, population estimates suggested the city had grown to 3,300 residents. Located in Rockwall County, Fate is a suburb of the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.
