Just south of Hill Air Force Base, right off I-15, Layton, Utah, is a city of nearly 60,000 residents just off the southeastern shores of the Great Salt Lake and about 25 miles north of Salt Lake City. The town was settled in 1850 as an agricultural extension of nearby Kaysville, and has been growing ever since. It is part of the Ogden-Clearfield Metropolitan Statistical Area, and those in search of a house for rent or an apartment for rent will find everything needed within reach. Davis Hospital and Medical Center provides medical services and is a major employer in town.
